Danita Stroup
MSLP, RSLP
I was born and raised in BC and currently reside in the Tri-cities area. I enjoy hiking around beautiful BC, traveling to new places and spending time with my family and friends. I love being active, running, playing lacrosse and coaching lacrosse in the community.
I received my Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from Northwestern University in Illinois. I also received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Northwestern in 2018, where I was a member of the Women’s Lacrosse team. Clinically, I have worked with children diagnosed with Speech Sound Disorders, Developmental Language Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Neurological Disorder. I have also worked with adults diagnosed with Aphasia, Dysarthria and Cognitive-Communication Disorders. My graduate externship opportunities included a school setting, medical setting and private clinic where I was able to gain experience with clients of varying ages and diagnoses. My experiences include both direct-contact and tele-health services.
